- Approximately 4 weeks after germination, apply a slow-release
high nitrogen fertilizer such as Pennington Lawn Food* which
has a N-P-K of 27-4-6 for a
nice healthy green summer lawn.
- For quicker establishment the first year, continue to
apply 1 1/2 pounds of a high nitrogen fertilizer per 1,000
square feet every month during the growing season. Bermuda
responds well to regular applications of nitrogen.
